NONE of the northern beaches boat crews go into the final round of the gruelling Davidoff Cool Water Ocean Thunder Pro-Surf Boat Series at Dee Why this Saturday with a chance of taking the overall crown… but there is an enormous amount of local face at stake.
SYDNEY: Perennial bridesmaids Starrett Austinmer have won a dramatic final to secure a memorable victory in the fourth and final round of the 2006 Davidoff Cool Water Ocean Thunder Pro-Surf Boat Series – mastering two-metres waves at Dee Why Beach.
It is a vastly contrasting story at the top of the points table as we approach the final round of the highly successful Davidoff Cool Water Ocean Thunder Pro-Surf Boat Series at Dee Why Beach this Saturday, December 16, 2006. The second Ocean Thunder series has widely been recognised as the toughest and most spectacular contested by boat crews anywhere in the world.
