Ocean Thunder Pro Surf Boat Series offers five televised, high profile, professional surf boat events. These events are restricted to a small number of elite men’s and women’s crews from Vic, NSW, QLD, WA & New Zealand, developed especially for television viewing with a format that is impactful and entertaining.  Each crew races off the beach, through the elements of the surf break and return back towards the beach, catching waves to end the race with an exciting sprint up the beachwith one person from each crew hitting a touch pad to record their place.
This adrenalin packed surfboat racing series has been designed outside the boundaries of traditional surf life saving events specifically for the benefit of advertisers. Advertising investment includes: • All production costs• Unlimited signageEach team’s Naming Rights Advertiser will be able to utilise the entire boat including oars with your company logo decals and company branding. This will not only be highlighted to the vast television audience and spectators on the beach during each event, but also act as a tremendous travelling billboard as each team travels throughout the area or state to training plus to each of the four OCEAN THUNDER events. Your team will only be known as your corporate name. In all aspects of the competition the boat’s name will be used. This includes commentary on the beach, written results and press releases. Note: Each team will need to allocate 100cm x 60cm space for Event principal sponsor “OCEAN THUNDER” decal to be positioned on each boat • Television FOX SPORTS have confirmed their commitment to OCEAN THUNDER, there will be four x 1 hour programs which will include a minimum of three replays of each event. In 2006 OCEAN THUNDER found that due to the demand for the program, considerable additional airplay was given with each of the OCEAN THUNDER programs repeated at least six times in the same month. With premieres commencing monthly during spring/summer, this led to a considerable amount of airplay during the prime FoxSports months of late spring, early summer. The event has all the natural characteristics in the appropriate mix to be a national success.  SKY (NEW ZEALAND) are again expected to nationally air all four programs with ongoing repeats. As with Fox Sports, the demand in 2006 for Ocean Thunder programs ensured each show in the 2006 series was repeated four times with further repeats planned.
 THE NINE NETWORK will run two distinct one hour highlights weekend programs of OCEAN THUNDER, this will be a montage of the four x 1 hour Fox Sport programs condensed into two one hour shows.

• Beach shade tents emblazoned with your logo • Functions Invitations will be extended to all post-event presentation evenings, together with corporate launches and functions. This will include your company logo as a centre piece to your table. • PA system advertiser acknowledgement at all events.
