Increase in Media Management for 2007 |

Surfboat racing provides great vision and holds solid media appeal for pictorial and television coverage. Dramatic shots of a 200-kg surfboat racing through the elements are magical. A sensational shot set in a pounding surf delivers great coverage in press and exciting closers for television news.
Our Public Relations company's agenda will be to generate publicity for the Ocean Thunder Series in both Australia and New Zealand across television, press, men's and sports magazines, radio and websites. Our approach would include; - Official Event Launch (October 2007)
- Pre event releases to key media
- Production and distribution of media kits
- Building the profile of the sport and the crews
- Servicing the needs of media on the beach
- Providing photographic opportunities
- Providing and event by event TV news feed and liaising with news desks nationally
- Branding for eVive Ocean Thunder Pro-Surf Boat via pictorial coverage and clever on beach branding
- Generate human-interest stories to a broad spectrum of media
- Coordinate all media and promotional appearances
- Organise and conduct media conferences pre and post events
- Set-up of onsite media facilities
- Coordination of media during the event
